Karey E. turned her life around getting herself physically, mentally, emotionally and financially healthy and now pays it forward helping others do the same!

A health & fitness coach…who would’ve thought 2 years ago that I would be helping people with their health and fitness goals.  Not me.  2 years ago I was at a point where I was not comfortable in my own skin.  I didn’t like the person that I saw in the mirror, on the inside or the outside.  As a single mom of two kids I did what a lot of parents do and put my kids first.  Some days it was just about making it through the day and making sure my kids were happy.  They were and always will be my first priority.  As a result I didn’t give much thought to myself.  I had a lot of anxiety and I was second guessing most decisions that I made.  I finally decided that I needed to think about my own health because in the long run having a happy, healthy mom is what my kids needed.

I found out about PiYo and decided it seemed like something I could do.  So I started with PiYo, without a coach.  I didn’t want a coach.  Why?  Probably because I didn’t want anyone to see what I was really like as far as my level of health/fitness.  Also, if I failed at completing a program or getting results nobody would know and I wouldn’t be disappointing anyone.  Not long after I started PiYo I met Rich and found out he was a Beachbody coach.  Maybe it was a sign that I really did need a coach.  We all need some help sometimes, so Rich became my coach.  He introduced me to Shakeology and although I was skeptical at first, I gave it a try.  Over time I found that my energy increased (no longer needed that 4 pm coffee) and there was a boost to my immune system (2 big colds a year to maybe a sniffle or two).  From time to time Rich would bring up coaching to me, but I didn’t really know how I could help anyone.  I wasn’t an expert in health/fitness so why would anyone want to listen to me.

While I was happy with the path I was on, and some of the results from the workouts I was doing, I decided it wasn’t enough.  My nutrition needed to get in line too.  I decided to give 21 Day Fix a try and that is when it all came together for me. After several rounds I got the results I wanted not only physically (lost 23 lbs and 22 inches), but emotionally too.  My confidence soared, I had less anxiety, and I was HAPPY! Around that same time I finally listened to what Rich was saying about coaching.  I decided to give it a try and joined the Natural Fitness Network.  Initially I became a coach for the discount on Shakeology.  Then the idea of supplementing my income interested me.  All good things, but what really got me was when people started looking to me for help with their own health & fitness goals.  I’m not an expert, I can only share what has worked for me.  Then when I started receiving messages of thanks for motivation and support that led to positive results/changes in other’s lives I knew I was part of something special.  Having a coach and being a part of challenge groups helped me stay focused on learning how to lead a healthy lifestyle and now I am paying it forward and helping others.  I’m so grateful for this amazing opportunity and the direction that my life has taken.  Thank you Beachbody and Team Natural Fitness!
