After reading the story “A Fat Girl Gets Naked”, it moved me to wrote this and hopefully reach out.
Calories in versus calories out, It’s that simple. Or is it? I talk to so many people who see that and destroy their health further on the quest to lose weight. Technically you can eat 3 Snickers bars a day and drop weight fast if that is all you eat. You are, after all taking in less calories than you burn. But is the only goal weight-loss or do you want to look, feel, move better and live longer?
I will not allow someone to starve themselves or advocate putting crap into your body. There are people who drop 60 lbs and gain 70 a year later, (maybe you are even one of them). If you are working with me, my focus will be on your health, period. I’ll help you navigate our nutrition guides so you are feeding your body what it needs, not starving it for some arbitrary weight goal. My way may not work as fast as a wrap, or a trendy soup diet, but I guarantee you’ll look, feel, move better and get more out of life than a temporary fix. Believe me, THE COST OF POOR HEALTH, BAD NUTRITION AND ADDING POISON TO YOUR BODY IS MUCH GREATER THAN THE INVESTMENT YOU MAKE INTO YOUR HEALTH AND LONGEVTY. It’s a valuable lesson I have learned that has made sure the guy from the Before photo has never made an appearance in my life again.
